– Modern simplicity meets traditions in a romantic Apulia elopement. –
We wanted to describe Apulia with a different perspective. A modern take on this Italian region so loved by foreign visitors, that has its roots going deep in the local traditions. Three are the must have topics for our elopement: Romantic, Casual and Fresh. We picked the Riserva Naturale Torre Guaceto as the location for the first look and the ceremony, an enchanted place out of time with a XV century watchtower, settled in the middle of a beautiful wilderness and surrounded by endless crystal sea. We decided to settle the wedding dinner in the backyard of Masseria Alchimia, a traditional local building facing the sea and surrounded by ancient olive trees. Camilla Cascino and I teamed up with a great team of talented vendors who designed their creations specifically for the shoot.

Roberto waits for his bride Grace with a gorgeous bouquet by Chiara Sperti Floral Events made by garden roses, lunaria and Vanda Orchids. Everything matches our neutral-warm tones palette: from the soil to the local wilderness. The uber talented designer Silvia Valli created the bride dresses: the first one, for the ceremony, a skirt made of silk satin and voile chiffon and an embroiled bodice on tulle with engraved leaves. The second, for the reception: silk cady and voile chiffon trousers and French rebrodè lace bodice with micro pailettes decorations. The shoulder pads and sealing are customized and paired with artisanal earrings by Minu Bijoux while the handmade jewel sandals by DPV luxury shoes are the perfect fit for a practical woman who wants to be comfortable without losing her style. Our groom wears a three-pieces suit by Linneo Archivable Clothing: a two-button jacket in delavè linen, shot brown and white with a revival ’50s cut. The vest has outlined pockets and custom made lining with a flower texture. Everything paired with cotton papillon and pochette with flower textures too. The sunrise yellow gold wedding ring custom made by My Golden Age are multi-faceted.Hair style and makeup for the bride and grooming for the groom by Hmua Sara Onori, who created a natural, shiny and ethereal look for the ceremony that twists into a sofisticated one for the dinner. I personally designed the bespoke wedding suite with a beautiful and modern interplay of calligraphy and text, with delicate and soft watercolor patterns and colours to evoke the local wilderness and its warm palette.
