Amanda and Anthony’s wedding at Villa Cipressi was a celebration of love and a reflection of their adventurous spirits and deep bond. Both working in the travel industry, they met during a business trip to Chicago and have been inseparable ever since, sharing a life of discovery, nature, and meaningful experiences.
Their dream was to unite their love for travel with a wedding immersed in natural beauty. Lake Como, with its majestic landscapes and serene charm, offered the perfect setting. With the help of planner Nicole Sparvieri, they brought to life an elegant and relaxed event filled with authenticity and style. Their vision came together in a palette of sage green, soft pinks, ivory, and delicate touches of gold. A perfect reflection of their refined yet romantic taste.

Perched above the lake in the charming village of Varenna, Villa Cipressi offers botanical gardens, breathtaking views, and timeless Italian charm. It was the ideal backdrop for Amanda and Anthony’s celebration. A place where guests could fully experience the beauty of the region in a setting that felt intimate and unforgettable.
Amanda got ready in the villa’s Magnolia Suite, where she spent a joyful morning with her mother and lifelong friends, sipping cocktails and sharing laughter as they helped her into her breathtaking gown. She wore a romantic Martina Liana dress, featuring a sweetheart neckline, flowing tulle skirt, and delicate 3D floral appliqués. Her bridesmaids, dressed in elegant sage green satin gowns, added a soft and cohesive touch to the bridal party. Meanwhile, Anthony prepared inside Villa Cipressi, with his brothers, wearing a timeless custom tuxedo with a white dinner jacket, black pants, and a classic bowtie.

The ceremony took place on a panoramic terrace overlooking Lake Como, beautifully styled by Garden of Love. With soft florals in ivory, blush, and touches of greenery, the setting felt airy, romantic, and full of emotion. It was a heartfelt and moving celebration, as Amanda and Anthony exchanged vows surrounded by the people who know and love them best. The atmosphere was warm and deeply meaningful, set under the golden Italian sun. Following the ceremony, we took family and wedding party portraits, then wandered through the villa’s botanical gardens for an intimate couple’s session during the golden hour. The soft light and lush scenery were the perfect complement to Amanda and Anthony’s effortless connection.
COCKTAIL HOUR & DINNER UNDER THE STARS
While guests enjoyed cocktails and local delicacies in the garden, accompanied by lake views and live music, I spent a few quiet moments with the couple, capturing portraits in some of the villa’s most beautiful corners. Dinner was served beneath a pergola on the main terrace, adorned with hanging flowers, candles, and twinkling lights. The tablescape echoed the couple’s color palette and featured elegant touches that created a truly magical ambiance. Heartfelt speeches followed, stories of friendship, family, and love that brought laughter and tears in equal measure.

The cake cutting took place on the ceremony terrace, now softly lit for the evening. One of the most touching moments was Amanda and Anthony’s first dance under the stars. A choreographed performance that beautifully expressed their joy and connection. After this magical moment, the celebration moved inside the villa, where music and dancing filled the night with energy and delight. Guests of all ages joined in, making the dance floor a space of pure celebration.
