classic and timeless wedding at villa trivulzio

Olivia and Stefano’s wedding at Villa Trivulzio was – without a doubt – a breathtaking celebration of love, elegance, and Italian heritage. After a civil ceremony in California, where they now reside, the couple decided to celebrate their love in grand style, bringing her American and his Italian families together for their wedding. Villa Trivulzio, with its rich history and Stefano’s deep ties to the Brianza region, was the perfect location for their special day. After all, this is an historical residence set within a centuries-old park, and the villa – along with its magnificent architecture – tells a story of great splendor. As the wedding day arrived, Olivia and Stefano were greeted with warm sunshine: the perfect weather for their celebration!
The bride and groom vision and style
I started the morning capturing our bride as she prepared for the day, surrounded by her closest loved ones. Olivia turned into a breathtaking vision in satin as she slipped into her exquisite Carolina Herrera gown. The mermaid silhouette fit her flawlessly, while the sweetheart neckline added a delicate, feminine touch, perfectly in line with the timeless elegance she had always envisioned for her wedding day. A delicate veil, pearl accessories and Giuseppe Zanotti shoes finished Olivia’s ensemble. BLBS Management styled her hair in soft Hollywood curls, while radiant, natural makeup enhanced her features. Olivia looked absolutely flawless. It was a joy to witness her happiness! Meanwhile, Stefano, the groom, was preparing in his formal navy tux with black lapels and a bow tie. He looked incredibly handsome as he got ready to see his bride for the first time.
The first look and the ceremony in the park
The couple shared a special moment together in the villa’s charming courtyard, where we took some photos before they said their “I do’s”. Soon after, the ceremony was nestled among the enchanting park of Villa Trivulzio, surrounded by centuries-old trees. A mesmerizing aisle of ivory and pastel blooms, green foliage and arrangements was created by The Garden of love. A fluffy Baby’s breath floral arch complete the setting, in keeping with the day’s classically romantic and undeniably enchanting aesthetic. While Olivia was walking down the aisle, I glanced at Stefano who had happy tears in his eyes. The couple exchanged the most romantic vows in front of their loved ones. Then, the ceremony ended and an enthusiastic crowd welcomed the newlyweds, throwing petals over the happy couple.
Following the rite, the guests made their way to the villa’s courtyard for cocktails and canapés. In the meantime, I seized the opportunity to capture some portraits of the couple in the enchanting Italian garden nearby. Marco Caputo and I were spoilt with the most wonderful backdrops for their images, precious memories that will be cherished for a lifetime.
The reception at Villa Trivulzio
The villa’s grand hall was decorated with suspended floral arrangements on the tables. As a result, the tablescape for the reception was outstanding. I loved those Fluffy clouds of ivory, rose, and light blue blooms, paired with Baby’s Breath, carefully curated by the talented team at The Garden of Love! The setting was, indeed, a wildly romantic spectacle. After the big entrance, the couple and their dearest guests were treated to divine Italian delicacies, fine wines and champagne. It was, without a doubt, a night to remember! Also, the atmosphere was nothing short of joyous. While Olivia and Stefano savored their dinner, I had the pleasure of capturing the happy faces of those surrounding them. Then, the newlyweds, joined by their guests, danced the night away, and as the celebration drew to a close, I witnessed everyone reminiscing about what an iconic day it had been.
We couldn’t be more thrilled for Olivia and Stefano. A huge and heartfelt thank you to them for allowing us to be part of their unforgettable wedding day!
