Sarah and David had a beautiful intimate wedding at Villa Regina Teodolinda. Everything they’ve hoped for. A refined location to celebrate with their dearest and nearest, enjoying a relaxed weekend on the Lake.
It was a gorgeous sunny day in Laglio and there was so much excitement before guests arrivals. During the preparation Sarah reserve some times for a small boudoir session. It was a surprise gift for David. While the groom was mingling with his family, Sarah got ready, helped by her mother. She definitely looked stunning in her gorgeous Jenny Packham dress while walking down the aisle…The ceremony was emotional and filled with touchy friends speeches, love, and happy tears. After the nuptials, we took a boat ride on a classic Riva for some shots of the the breathtaking panorama from the lake. When you are planning a wedding on Lake Como, a Riva boat ride is definitely a must have! Also, it allows a bit of private time to the newlyweds, enjoying the lake view and a glass of champagne.
Back at the Villa, Sarah and David enjoyed a rich Italian aperitif with their guests under the portico. Meanwhile, inside, an imperial table was prepared with a stunning botanical floral runner and candles. At the end, the room looked incredible with those decors which perfectly complemented the elegant atmosphere of the villa. Benevent planner and florist Chiara Sperti did a great job with the all set up. Also, I loved that Sarah and David have incorporated meaningful heirloom details on their special day. The bespoke engagement ring was created with their grandparent’s rings. Also, unique creations of their close friends, jewelry designer Margaret Bolton, were gifted to the bride and groom.
It was such a wonderful wedding with a truly amazing couple. Thank-you to Sarah and David for sharing your incredible day with us!
